Leaving on a little trip…

So I found this cool little app on my iPhone. Those of you that know me know that I love to post about my family on Facebook.  I have in the past had several blogs. They have mainly been an outlet for me personally when I’ve been dealing with whatever life seemed to be throwing my direction. Specifically I blogged when our first born son passed away. And again when my father passed away. Both obviously very difficult situations, but in writing I found it to be healing and I also managed to find some humor. Anyways, I am going with my soon to be senior daughter to London and then Paris for a few weeks. I do love to write.  This blog really I am reviving as a means to document our funny and somewhat insane family. I have three generations of children. I was a teenage mom I was a single mom. I married the love of my life. We had two more beautiful girls. We decided later in life that we wanted one more. We were blessed with our first born son Michael. Michael unfortunately passed away.  God has a very funny sense of humor and I had two more little boys in my 40’s. I have dealt with infertility, I have dealt with baby loss, I have however overall been blessed beyond words.

As I was coming home last night from getting a few things for my trip I looked in the window and saw Trey sitting there with my green headband on, pillows piled up, naked (of course) and it made me overwhelmingly happy and laugh at the same time. So I will miss these little guys – it will be the longest I have ever been away from my husband. Everyone pray the house is still standing when we get back.
